Where to dispose of used batteries/light bulbs?
Where to dispose of used batteries/light bulbs?
Should we be taking those to the nearest electrical store/supermarket?
Re: Where to dispose of used batteries/light bulbs?
from what I know, just rubbish, as from what I know all rubbish / garbage gets sorted out and separated before going to the incinerators in Tuas Areaaster wrote:Should we be taking those to the nearest electrical store/supermarket?
of course some slip by and they have 'controlled' explosions in the sorting / incinerator plants

to be honest I am not sure which electrical store or supermarket accept them unlike Printer cartridges / Toners etc.

If you live in a hdb, they have a system of providing a yellow bag into which you leave your recyclables', if you don't then I know the fair price in city sq mall has a recycling point where you can drop off old phones, glass bottles etc.
Not sure about other places though.

Re: Where to dispose of used batteries/light bulbs?
I know this is an old post, but since it is one of the top results in Google I'll add my finding:
https://www.veolia.com.sg/our-services/residents/faqs (search for bulb)
Essentially this site recognizes dangerous materials in bulbs and suggests to bring it either to dedicated bins at Community Centers or dedicated bulb collection bins at
