InterGlobal Insurance and Raffles Medical Group

Post by Uffelman » Wed, 10 Sep 2014 9:23 pm

Received a very competitive quote from a company called InterGlobal for comprehensive worldwide insurance. The offer reads as though we'd be restricted to using the Raffles Medical Group. Anyone have experience with either of these? Family of five, including three children, so biggest concern is quality of specialists for pediatrics and gynecological care.

Many thanks!

I know this is a old post, did you go with InterGlobal ? We are relocating to SG from BKK soon and looking for decent insurance options that will cover my family in SG and Thailand.

Interglobal is now Aetna fyi.

There are many international providers that do not restrict where you can visit (although Raffles Medical is pretty decent).

There are 4 tiers of cover in Singapore generally:
1. Singapore-only
2. Asean / Asia (rarer)
3. Worldwide excluding USA (most common)
4. Worldwide

You may want to try for (1), (2) or (3).
