if mata is injured they don't have any creative midfielders who can dictate play, united are going to play a 3-5-2 formation under Van Gaal, this means a very tight defence and they haven't got that either.
they have two good strikers but it depends on how creative Mata is going to be.
I hope everton and spurs finish above them

I dont see Mata or Januzaj in the team

He will surely try and accomodate Falcao/RVP/Rooney

Midfield 3 , Fletcher / Di Maria / A.N.Other holding

If Mata is played in a 3 with those guys ... Lucky to finish in Top 6

Man Utd and QPR looked very vulnerable playing 3 at the back and there are question marks over it ever working well in the EPL.

No sour grapes, I think Spurs dodged a bullet missing out on Welbeck. Even with a run I don't think he has the quality to be a 20 goal a season asset. I don't think he is the answer for the Gooners.....................well I hope not

Can't believe Spurs didn't sign a striker though

Funny. I don't think taking Defoe back was the answer either although I think he will score goals for QPR.

Could be worse, Spurs could have signed bonkers Balotelli.

I think Bredan Rodgers is expecting to pull a Suarez out of Balotelli , but I think Sturridge is his answer more than anything.
gerrard, sterling, Sturridge and a decent defence, they look strong Liverpool

Ballotelli gives them some physical presence , otherwise they look lightweight.

Once Ballotelli finds his shooting boots , should be sorted.

Not sure where Coutinho fits in , in the system though as Sterling now seems to be in his role.
