Fighter jets flying over every day, but only at these times:

1.00
5.30

Your life is so much more interesting than mine. All I hear, all day, is construction. :(

We've just been through 6 months of pile-driving nearby, and x000 trucks removing foundation soil (18 hrs a day)... believe me, I know what that's like...

The perpetual noise is one thing I won't miss about this place ...

I found the constant construction noise and drilling a bit dementing at times. Not sure what the city planners have in mind with this insatiable construction. Me think they have an addiction to new-ness, they like new buildings and other new and novel things.

If there is any consolation, JR8, you are not the only one having to put up with noise pollution. Zuckerbergs' neighbors are going thru' the same thing. They should set up a neighborhood page on Facebook to complain  .

Their beef isn't with any noise. That work has been approved by the city authorities. They should complain to the latter if there is a problem.

It all comes down to 'my d*ck is bigger and nobler than your is*', and Zuckerberg has one of the biggest of them all.

You see similar in London where there is the phenomena of 'iceberg homes'. Where they excavate down under the house to add another 2 or even 3 subterranean floors. That always has the neighbours up in arms, and it's also usually 'new money' doing it so there's jealousy + the snobbery element too.

* 'Midnight Jonny III' ?
