Experience vs Education

Post by t0nt0 » Fri, 29 Aug 2014 3:18 am

Didn't see this on any of the threads so I thought I'd ask --

Am thinking of finding work in Singapore and I've been doing a load of research on visas, etc. I did the SAT quiz which says I am eligible for an S Pass however, the MOM website states education (either diploma or degree) as one of their requirements.

I don't have either but I do have 10 years of experience plus certificates from all sorts of courses (related to the job) and training.

What are the chances of getting that S Pass? Do they overlook experience just because the education requirements don't meet?

PS I am in the construction industry, if that helps.

Can only say try. But don't hold yer breath. If you get it, then heave a sigh of relief. Otherwise, I wouldn't give you a slug nickel for yer chances.
