Post by dontei wu » Tue, 19 Aug 2014 8:03 pm

Hi,

I'm going to apply PR but I never tried before. This is the first. Can i apply together with my husband and son or separately? Please advise my PR Approval chance. Our details as below,

Nationality - Malaysian (Both)

Me :
No of year work in SG - 4 years plus
Education - O Level
Occupation - Administrative Executive
Salary - S$2500.00 / month
Current holding pass - S Pass
Material Status - Married
No of Children - 1 (son, in Malaysia)

Spouse :
No of year work in SG - 7 years plus
Education - O Level
Occupation - IT Technician
Salary : less than S$2500.00 / month
Current holding pass - Work Permit

Can anyone please advise me the approval under the above criteria.

Thanks in advance.[/quote]

Your ethnicity and Nationality are about the only two things I see going for you. Having a son might help, but as both of you only have O levels, I see this as a real stumbling block. 50:50 if you are lucky would be my guess. Try but don't hold your breath. If it goes, look at it as a blessing and pay your respects generously to whichever deity you worship.

i think as a family might be better than applying separately...

but bear in mind the NS liability!

No issue. Just apply as a family unit.

your husband not eligible to apply PR because he holding work permit.

you can only summit your application first after got approved then sponsor your husband and son to apply PR. if not ask your husband get S pass then apply herself.

hope it help.....I just got my approved last week ^_^ Good Luck!
Wrong I'm afraid, as long as the main applicant is a S Pass can include spouse, doesn't matter what kind of pass the spouse has, SVP can also!
