My electric personality could be a good reason but I think more likely it is the surface area and the overall humidity/moisture intake. What probably happens is not directly associated with the live line going to the appliance but the difference in potential between the ground line and the area the person sits on. In principle there should be no potential but I bet it is. The live line going through the walls is not EM shielded, and there are various metal objects around. Given elevated moisture content in the walls I can imagine some potentials may be present. This, plus what may go via ordinary route - through the cable insulation - again, large surface area, high moisture environment.

Now lets combine this potential (it could be small) with the surface area of your body in contact with the floor where another electrode is at your finger tip (relatively small area) and I think there maybe a pretty nice electric current going through the body.

Lets see how many electric personalities we have around: any volunteers to get sweat, sit down naked on a stone floor and touch an external, unpainted housing of a running a standard ATX PC's PSU directly hooked up to the wall with the 3 way standard electric plug?

SE says it's safe and he is an electric engineer.

Sounds like something SMS did a lot in his youth*.

I have always found fascinating how the topics deviate. Now we are probably 24 posts away from the Hitler thing.

Technically you already reached it.

The LEGOLAND area on the other hand..... where Miniature Kingdom has a KL "Airport Express" that I don't think has worked a day in it's life. Why? Because it is built 6-inches under ground level and the Danes forgot how much rain we can get.

The KL Monorail likewise hardly works, the Duck Tour around Singapore doesn't work, half the trucks around the port of PTP don't work, I think from memory the plane that's supposed to move around KLIA also doesn't work.....anyway you get the idea.

And you want HOW MUCH to stay in the hotel???? :O
We have just returned ... I think it is a matter of what one looks for during such a visit. We didn't care too much about conformity to some actual objects or a level of details but just for our kid to have some fun. IMHO there is nothing wrong with this Malaysia Legoland. In terms of aesthetics and safety qualities it appeared similar to the Singapore standards. Some wear and tear was there, but nothing extensive. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overpriced adn very so-so food was probably the only clearly bad thing but we did not go there for food neither. One or two installations down, another, new one under construction. When I visited the Universal Studios in Singapore some time ago it was not any different. Conclusion: good and safe place for a family to visit.
