Hi, I just came back from Kata,Phuket for surfing for 3days and
looking for a friend who can go to Desaru, MY near Johor Bahru.

I am a super beginner but I can stand. I don't have my own board though.

You're a bit early; the surf comes up about November onwards, peaking December/January. Have a look at Cerating.

Meanwhile, there's Wave House at Sentosa
