Starting PTE LTD. on a DP

Post by brandimage » Sat, 16 Aug 2014 3:59 pm

Hi All,

I am working with a incorporation service provider to start a private limited company. I am in Singapore on DP.

Now the service provider says that I can be the sole director and shareholder in my company and I don't need to add any other local resident director since I am staying on a DP.

Is this even possible? Wanted to check with the group what are the other options for a DP to start a private limited company without adding a "dummy" director.

Thanks!

It is still correct. The laws and regulations have not changed. Whether or not it has become more difficult to navigate MOM and get what you want is unknown.
