Even nicer than those dingy HDBs that cheap, loan-shark infested landlords try to rent out to feed his addiction, while scheming to cheat yet another gullible foreign tenant for good faith deposit or rental deposit.
Sinkies will be screaming to be allowed to stay in those dorms! Want cake, eat it also can.

re: ZZM's quote/list of developments:

What do they all have in common? No-one knows WTH most of those places are, so far away are they!

I read it in a SG property round-up.... thus:
-------------------------------
'Industrial
Largest dormitory to feature integrated facilities (10 Aug – ST)
Tuas View Dormitory at Tuas South Avenue 1 is slated to open at the end of August. The 16,800-bed complex over 20 four-storey blocks will be the largest on the island and will open in phases. The development will also feature a minimart, beer garden, food court and recreational options such as a 250-seat cinema and a cricket field.
'
----------------------------------

[Will they also feature patrolling guardsmen with batons and rottweilers? You know, to 'keep the natives in their place'?]

the Tuas south area or most of it didn't exist in old Singapore

13 years ago they were still 'setting' after the reclamation ....

and those days driving around that area was a near roller coaster ride, with the roads dipping in or rising!!

btw, most waste processing plants/incinerators are in that neighborhood

Later on when they convert it into an 'executive condo' they can rename it to D'Tuas View Ville.

D'Tuas View would be more appropriate.

63 being the postcode zone, and the Chinese characters 6 and 3 suggesting 'money flow' and 'birth'. The Cribs might also suggest birth too.
