i am fraking frustrated by the freaking app development company in ukraine and i need a reality check.

Q. MUST I HAND HOLD THE APP DEVELOPER EVERY SINGLE DAMN freak STEP AND PAGE OF THE FOCKING WAY TO GET WHAT I WANT?

I HAVE BEEN SPENDING ALMOST EVERY DAY GUIDING THE DEVELOPER ON EVERY, AND I MEAN EVERY, EVERY GOD DAMN THING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE I AM GOING CRAZY KEEPING AND WORKING ON UKRAINE TIME IN SINGAPORE AND NOT BEING ABLE TO GO DO MY DAILY STUFF.

OH MY GOD, WHAT THE FOCK.

there must be something wrong? is the above the norm???? i'm going crazy. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have synced my dinner to 2PM UKRAINE lunch time.

i am about to just terminate the project and file a dispute. this is the first time i'm dipping my toes in app development - but i am not a computer idiot as i have started and sold a dot com before.

if this is the norm, i will be avoiding all ukrainian app development companies. and possibly russian ones also.

Funny enough, I was just browsing Odesk the other day for a project and almost chose a Ukrainian developer.

I think you'll have the problems you describe with any 'economically priced' developer.

the app isn't economically priced... especially by their standards. it's a 5 figure project.

That is highly dependent on the app itself. Are we talking immersive 3d shooter using the unreal engine, or a fancy version of a web app?

I personally like Odesk. There are plenty of Snakeoil salespeople there, but also plenty of quality talent. Quite a few of the later based in Indonesia actually, which could be a good fit if you're in Singapore.
