Panglao - Leaving this Forum

Post by Panglao » Fri, 08 Aug 2014 11:08 am

I have no business interests in the Philippines and make regular trips to Singapore. I have been based in the Philippines for 15 years and try to help other bona fide expats, for free, with their projects, when I consider them genuine with a proven track record. Unfortunately it would appear that there are the usual bunch of elderly (probably younger than me 63) expats on this forum who spend most of their time abusing and condemning others without any foundation whatsoever, because they have nothing better to do with their lives. Sorry, I find such attitudes childish, pathetic and ignorant with a touch of paranoia. I therefore no longer wish to be part of such a site.

@ecureilx You appear to be one of the adult members, so in answer to your questions before I leave:

Airport - airport area cleared and housing for resettled residents nearly finished. The Japanese feel confident the land will not be a problem.

Dumuluan beach much better than Alona. Only the tourists go to Alona these days.

A lot of residential housing now being done to European standards.

Don't take offense so quickly.

Your first post did sound like a prelude to some sort of business opportunity which would be offered to forum readers over subsquent posts. Very common on this site until the mods remove the offender.

If you stick around you'll find this site has a lot to offer, sometimes even from those elderly expats you refer to.

I at least now know where Panglao is and would be interested in any further insights you have to offer about that and the Philippines.

I would like Panglao to then explain why it is his email address as the point of contact for the Panglao Sunshine Village on their FaceBook page then? Oh, I wasn't supposed to be able to do that, huh. You were caught out in a bare faced lie. [-X That is what moderators are for - to protect the unaware of the shady methods that some Realtors will use to solicit their properties.

Bye-Bye

Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. Singaporeans (and expats) are dmn sick and tired of being sold shoddy overseas off-the-plan developments that fail and in which we have little recourse.
