Just moved to Panglao Island, Philippines. Everything happening here now. New airport, new roads, resorts, hotels, retirement village, residential areas, proposed golf course, marina, hospital, malls................. :D

Actually no. Just think Panglao Island is a growing area that may interest other expats :)

and you have no business interests there?

interesting ..

how is the airport coming along ?

will it be completed in another 20 years time, considering a whole lot of soil issues encountered plus the TRO? ;)

I do agree Alona beech is great if the private developers do not end up staking their territories!!!

Dear Expat / Newbie,

Be very interested to hear your story..... job, where come from, visa, life there, housing, corruption, why that location, transport, married etc.

Any western construction companies operating there?

As the website is in Dutch and English, that might be a lead Martin. But our friend is a liar outright from the get go. When asked specifically by ecureilx whether he was a property agent or not, he lied outright as he is the contact listed on their FB page.

I'm going to let Nak have the honours in nuking him, but in the meantime I've removed his sunshine link in his profile....... :cool:
