I just set my computer's* language to English(US/UK) and let the OS's spellcheck sort it out if I forget.

*include your smartphone as well, except if selecting a different language borks your phone's voice commands. I don't know about Siri or Cortana but Google Now has some tremendously useful and convenient voice commands.
