In Principle Approval Vs. Visa

Post by hussainali1990 » Fri, 18 Jul 2014 8:55 am

Hi guys,

I am an Iraqi citizen, moving to singapore next month.

I will be working for MOHH (ministry of health holdings) so they are applying for E-Pass on my behalf.

My question is: will I be allowed to enter the country using the In Principle Approval, or will I need to use that to apply for an entry visa?

Please bear in mind that I have the misfortune of being from a Level II country :(

Regards,
Hussain

what does your IPA tell you?

Usually there is a sentence saying it's either valid as an entry visa, either that you have to ensure to have a valid entry visa ( in which case you need to apply for one)

Usually the E-Pass will come with a pre-approved 30-Day SVP (Social Visit Pass). That allows you to come in, stay, and meanwhile get any paperwork here sorted out. If I were you I'd want to see the copy of the approval, and read it carefully. Simple.

p.s. Yalla bina habibi, and welcome to the forum! :)
