Sounds just like the Texas tea party Republicans... only they've engaged multiple targets... why hate just gays and blacks when you can throw in Mexicans, liberals, and socialists as well.

Most likely by being more successful and happy than him in every quantifiable way.
OP is a female. Judging from her name. Unless he is pretending as one. (Don't worry, I'm just being helpful) :P
I can confirm that it is a Chinese Female. She probably lost her boyfriend or husband to a winsome lass from the 'peens who probably held a job higher to her's as well.

Hardly possible. Zaitun is Arabic name for olive. Could be of Arabic, Javanese or Malay heritage. Given that some of the Filipinos are classified as Malays in NRIC for PRs and SCs, I would guess the source of Zaitun's agony against them.

Why are we guessing the identity anyway?

It's a classic urban myth amoungst Singaporeans that "they" can have "you" (i.e. a PR or whatever) blacklisted by the ICA. About the only person individually who can do that to normal law abiding person would be LKY or maybe the president.

Because it's a slow Tuesday afternoon. :)

Jilted, dumped, sacked, whatever. She obviously has something against Pinoys. Of course not Pinays because someone has to clean up after her.

I dont think this is a given. AFAIK, some smart ass posted an article in TRE after he, supposedly spoke to a Filipino who said that he/she specified Malay as race in the PR application. I dont think anyone has confirmed this and an article on TRE is worth just TRASH, OP ofcourse sounds like a hardcore TRE fan

I have spoken to a Filipino and she mentioned that in Singapore, whenever race was asked to be specified she always was asked to specify as "Others"

Cue: 'Water face'

Does anyone have an emoticon for such an expression?

Tried to find an example of the look, closest I could find was this...

The kinda 'I know you're there, but to me you're not' look ... hehe

Of course the OP could just be another imbecilic troll who's trying to drum up some responses to quote on The Racist Emporium, HatredZone, The Real Sectarian, etc.

Hence the highly odious (to me) general disdain for anyone from the sub-continent. Is it a variant of bullying perhaps? Someone who is bullied often finds someone else 'beneath them' to dislike and bully too...

I can't say I've been anywhere else where race is a daily issue and topic*. Well, maybe Israel has parallels, but it's a rare thing to experience IMO. One wonders why this simmering hatred is tolerated here. A useful distraction ['bread and circuses']? Jeez, it took a foreign company no less, Coca Cola, to suggest appreciating foreign workers ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj4A6g2GP30 ['Coke Drones' advertisement].

* Elements of it are super-micro-managed, and yet others seem to be completely ignored/tolerated. Curious.
I don't think this is purely a SG problem, just witness the mass media hysteria of Daily Mail, Telegraph etc when The EU ( or more specifically England) opened its borders both in 2014 and back in 2004. The headlines of "Eastern Europeans coming to take our jobs" were everywhere for months on end! And you only need to look at the rise of the EDL, Britain First and UKIP (and the increase in their support) to realise that there is an increasingly large vocal minority . In the Uk for sub-continent read Bulgarian/Romanian....plus I believe it's basic human nature to fear that which you don't know and if you're already in a position of power, be it physically, financially, numerically that fear can easily be turned to control (bullying)

My experience is that Pinoys are kinder, more respectful, friendlier, and more helpful than your average Singaporean. This country would be improved by having MORE of them. And who would be looking after your kid, anyway?

The EU has been foisted on the British people, and other countries, against their will. That was the politicians precise intention from the day the post-war blue-print for rolling it out was first penned.

As the original architect of the EU as we now have it, Jean Monnet, stated:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Europe’s nations should be guided towards the superstate without their people understanding what is happening. This can be accomplished by successive steps, each disguised as having an economic purpose, but which will eventually and irreversibly lead to federation.”

You have to admit that cars are pretty expensive here.
