Hello, I have some experience on small-scale buyouts for businesses with earnings under $1 million in the US (I'm a US citizen). I'm thinking of doing the same in Singapore.
Of course the critical question is, will I be able to obtain financing?
Usually the seller wants 25% down and carries back 75% as seller financing over 5 to 7 years.
The down payment is not an issue, but cashing the seller out after 5 to 7 years usually requires a refinance.
If anyone's had experience applying for refinancing especially as a foreigner, I'd love to hear about your experience, thank you.
