@EF. Looks like the weekend 'crime blotters' [round-ups] from the US local press.

I wish they had these in more countries, as it keeps you in touch with how neighbourhoods are changing, and what to look out for.

You mean the police reports? I took them from one of Polish humour sites, where they were obviously copied to. If you want to search for the roots (what is probably a difficult task) copy one of the images location and feed google with it under the "image" section - there is a small camera icon to the right of the query field, click it, paste the url and Google will show you locations of the same/almost the same images.

Thanks. Just wondering where can I find more laughs from these neighborhood crime jokes.

I'd like to think that some of these are some interns' idea of trolling their editors.

I would too, but I lived in Small Town American for half of my life to know otherwise. Having said that, I reckon some could be "pranks" but I've seen my share in our local paper in my hometown all those years ago when still in the US.

But now in the online world, it's

"You won't believe what <famous person> did!"
"10 Most Shocking Truths About <mundane thing>"
"The Real <conceptual noun> About <thing most likely with preconceived notions>"

Followed by a web page just with one image or paragraph and you have to click through several times just to get through the list.
