Hello ,
My employer in singapore has applied for my EP but the status is saying pending for vetting and it can take 2 months. Any idea what is going to happen next. In real case scenario how much it will take to process it?

Anywhere from 3 days to 2 months depending on your salary and education credentials.

Most of the time to vet your education credentials. Lots of people from India and other countries in the region were using forged credentials to qualify for their employment passes.

That means i do not have to worry if my educational and experience credentials are correct.
What my worry now is how much time it can take to complete the process. Is it max 2 months or it can go beyond that as well.?

Of course it could go beyond that, anything could happen. It typically doesn't though if all of your paperwork is in order.

Here is the Holy Grail regarding vetting agencies and EP applications.

There are people who had to wait for 2 months. And some got vetted even for renewal.
