Did you ever hear of Google or other search engines?
They do an excellent job for queries like this!

My name is Sri. I'm from Hyderabad and recently moved to Singapore. My family stays in Hyderabad. So I'm planning to bring my family (Wife and Children) to Singapore. Before that I need to plan my children education. I have 2 children, Son and Daughter. My son is 7+ yrs and my daughter is 5+ years. I request your help and guidance, as i'm new over here. I don't know which standard they will be here. I believe P-2 and P-1 in primary school.

Can you let me know below details.
1. How is the school education system in Singapore for Indians.

The same as it is for Chinese, Malay and Eurasians. All do the same syllabus.

2. Please provide list of Indian/local schools details in Tampines, Bedok or nearby?

3. How is the fee structure for non-resident?

Ask them.

4. Our mother tongue is Telugu and I prefer language for my kids, should be Telugu or Hindi (National Language)?

If it's a local school they will be taught Tamil. However, I believe there is a provision to take Hindi but outside by an non-MOE institution.

You will actually have to do some research of your own. I've given you a start.

Regards,
Sri

Yes, this board works best when you've done some research and are looking for experiential information. If you ask for easily available information (such as your questions) you'll be fortunate to receive a thoughtful reply.

Thanks beppi for your advise. While doing research I got this forum, so I thought to register and post my questions in this forum and get more details from experts like you and others. I understand google is good search engine but also you'll find false information. I hope you understood and thanks again for your suggestion.

Tongue in cheek reply ..

You decided all expats are Indians to be specialists in All-Things-Indian ?

Or you decided being the second most populous country in the world, every other expat MUST BE INDIAN or KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT INDIA ??

I do admire Indians ..

Now seriously, If you are still not sure, get the Tabla Paper, and it has frequent reviews on Indian Syllabus schools .. or see their online publication ..

And ... there is a Mini-Hyderabad in Ponggol .. if you make friends with the Other Telugus .. you may find more info there .. than here .. ;)

Those who are not aware about India syllabus or schools better stay away from this post and don't post any more comments. I'm not looking answers from Jack of all, anyhow I got all details.

Thanks everyone for your help and time

Pretty arrogant reply, I must say!
If you don't want answers from the readers of this form, then why the hell did you post here???

That's why normally I don't help seeing posts like the initial one in this thread. Dare to say, majority of such posters are not worth any response. Providing them with the requested information only makes their approach persistent. Do nothing by yourself, rely on the others, strengthen your entitlement complex. Having said that, OP is not the worst one. At least he said, thank you.

this is exactly the reason why people like you give our country a bad name! Very arrogant and selfish and come with a know it all attitude and yet didn't know how to use google to get this information.
