At home day spas and beauty!

Post by AliaWon » Wed, 28 May 2014 9:53 am

Hi,
I am new to these forums but am curious as to whether people would be more interested in a massage service that comes to your location and performs massage services like deep tissue massage and Swedish massage. Or would people be more interested in a service that offers vouchers for hair and beauty products and services? Or even discounted hair and beauty treatments?
There are similar services being offered around the world but Singapore is a very diverse place. This makes me wonder what it really is that the Singaporean consumer want?

Thanks in advance for you response

Alia

don't people already offer such housecall massages through craigslist and gumtree and what not?

for the other things you mentioned, group deal/buy websites also exist...

That is true, but do many people use the at home service?
I was under the impression that it was fairly expensive and unaffordable to most...
People may be more inclined to sue the service if it were made cheaper and more efficient for both the customers and the therapists.
Also, gumtree and such are not very reliable and you dont know who it is that is actually advertising.
Sometimes the group deals are not directly linked to the salons as such and there is a large amount of fraud involved.
However people may use a service which is more secure and reliable

Because this thread gives a potential breeding ground for illegal advertising on this board. Either there will be someone who is trying to advertise his/her at-home services without permission from site admin or someone in this thread will suddenly say s/he found an answer to your question and offer the "recommendation" (also another advertising).

To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

I am very disappointed that my favourite neighbourhood hairdresser has raised prices from S$8 to S$10 for a cut.
Thus if you can better this new price, I will sure become your customer!

That is disappointing! Did they give any explanation to the price rise?
What kind of cut do you usually get? Is it a similar price elsewhere in Singapore?

Hi Gail,

I have been on the import and export business in Singapore for number of year.

What component you plan to import and export?

Regards,
Luis

Dear Luis,

I do not tell you this enough... because of your importing and exporting prowess over the number of year...

You are my hero. I will be your component any day.

Love,
Gail.
