Where to see stars in Singapore?

Post by PNGMK » Sat, 24 May 2014 10:11 pm

I've been fascinated by the app "StarChart" but find it hard to see stars in Singapore. The only place I've previously found half decent was St John's island. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Too much light pollution and haze here in Singapore, Suburbs are likely to be a better place.
To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

Stinky Bay, the only place in Singapore, that I know of, that has a near-360 horizon.

It's a no-trespassing zone now of course, but I'm not sure how strictly this is enforced.
