I'd love to catch up with women of a similar age. I'm a 34-year-old British woman, married, just moved here from London, work for a bank (doesn't everyone?).

That's rather presumptuous, don't you think? Actually only a small percentage of the expats here work for banks. I would be willing to bet there are a lot more here working in the Petrochemical/Pharmaceutical industries.

but the lady is looking for women.

I see a few women folk in the ship yard, but not that many, vs those in Raffles Place/Changi Business Park area

And assuming all those in non-shipyard area are in Banking

I do agree, not many expats, or "EXPATS" in Western Terms, are in Banking of late !!
