Credit Card Debt

Post by commando_pants » Mon, 19 May 2014 7:33 pm

Due to tragic unforeseeable personal reasons I was required to vacate Singapore at very short notice, leaving a well paid job and also some credit cards - these cards are still outstanding to the value of say 40K circa, as I have been yet unable to secure employment.

My status was PEP and as such based on what people are saying do not have a credit history with http://www.creditbureau.com.sg/

My intention is to return to Singapore soon, this forum is full of differing scenarios some wild.

What exactly could I expect at immigration? if anything.

Nothing from Immigration. You will need to address this to avoid a poor credit record and possible bankrupt (which will cause issues with immigration).
