That kulfi recipe looks absolutely divine!

Wonder if I could do a version in my ice-cream machine. Might have to go easy on the whole saffron... that stuff is $$$!

Mango sorbet served in a cone-shaped jellaby, with dark chocolate drizzled on top ... ?

p.s. need to wear elbow length rubber gloves while eating.... hehe...

$80 in the UK for 10gms
... you wonder why it's used sparingly (I've only ever bought it once, and even then maybe only 0.5-1.0 gm

I think I might have made a mistake with my amounts. I paid 10$ for the smallest of these boxes and this specific brand

edit: I am reading the fine print on the boxes, I think I paid 10$ for 1 gm.

And then there is a sort of dish called Mango Shrikand, basically it is a mango yoghurt smoothie thing spiced with cardamom and saffron and pistachios

I found an incredibly good website which lists the whole process step by step

red pepper
red onion
jalapeno pepper - no seeds or membrane

I had the privilege to be given few Indian mangoes. Bright orange and sweet and lovely texture!

Ate all of them in one sitting. Just me, a knife and a spoon.
