PR still pending- Am I able to change job?

Hi dear all,

As per topic,I have applied my PR@9 Dec 2013,currently no result still.

Just wanna check with u guys,if I change my job now would it be affect my Pr application? I will be still working in banking line,I heard ICA will straight away decline my application,because when I leave my current company I meed to cancel my EP first,and my new company will help me to apply again,hence ICA might be informed.

There is no might about it. You have to notify ICA if you change jobs. If you don't they will know it when they check the IRAS & CPF records. Also, if you change jobs, they will know you are a job hopper and yes, if you quit and your EP is canceled you have a very good chance of not having it renewed for the new position. If that happens, your PR is as good as gone.

My suggestion? Try to change jobs. We've got too many PRs already.

Lol,in this case I shd reconsider about the new job...thx 4 the info hopefully wont be too long to heard bout the result

How about citizenship application ? Does changing job matters ? I am in my current company over 5 years already.
