where to rent a 4- 5 bedroom place

is it possible to rent a 4 -5 bedroom place cheaply? What would be the cheapest price range for a place like this near to the east coast (working at Chai Chee Technology park)
We don't need to be any-where trendy, will cook at home so doesn't matter if it is a little out of the way.

Any ideas?

a quick search on this site says a 5bdr 4100sq house is $4000 to rent a month it is at PANDAN VALLEY, CHEMPAKA CT - near holland village why would this be so cheap?

i found a 4 room apartment with 3 bedrooms fo 1.200.- (very nice!)
so with luck there might be something cheap like this.

It's possible that the house has not been renovated in awhile which means potentially gross bathrooms and kitchen. LOOK AT IT IN PERSON FIRST!! DO NOT choose a place sight unseen. Good luck.
