You've packed your own, (presumably few) boxes already. That suggests there is little or nothing in it for them to be bothered dealing with, since they'll expect you to be unpacking them at this end too.
Doesn't mean I'm not paying them though, right? I mean none of them even went as far as giving me a quote, with many not even bother to reply back.
Have you considered freighting them directly, perhaps not quite simply posting them, but a step down from full service international relocation companies?
Well, that's actually what I'm hoping to look for. The thing is I'm looking for door to door service. For some reason, many ocean freight companies have sketchy websites with no hints of reliability, and their descriptions seem to indicate port to port service (geared for businesses). I tried Scan-shipping, and they had no interest.
