No excuses for not being active now if you're a PR/SC

All citizens, permanent residents to get $100 to spend on sports facilities, fitness classes
> The game plan is part of Sport Singapore's new ActiveSG movement that aims to encourage people of all ages to get up and embrace a sporting lifestyle.

> With all 3.8 million Singaporeans and permanent residents eligible for the $100 worth of ActiveSG$, the Government is dangling a $380 million carrot.

I'm not quite sure how one avails oneself of the money but it's out there.

Read an article about this bashing it... essentially they seem to have raised the fees from $80 to $180 per year at the same time. So the $100 is a bad joke for existing subscribers.

OK I'm using ActiveSG. I have to say the APP absolutely sucks donkey balls. This thing has NO design sense and is very buggy. (Problem no 1 - you can't see your bookings on it - like WTF?). However I have found the activesg.com.sg website tolerable. HOWEVER it still sucks. Before you could just ring up or book the facility at the facility booking office AND THAT FUNCTIONALITY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REMOVED! Not everyone wants or can use a damn buggy app.

I use Active SG app to enter public swimming complexes. Once you are registered, you can use your IC to enter. The system will debit the entrance fee from your activesg account which has $100 initially.
