Accommodations Around MacPherson and Aljunied Road

Can anyone supply information about what kind of accommodations might be available around MacPherson and Ajunied Road? Probably north to avoid PIE nightmare intersection but not mandatory. Would be for a single male, year long contract. Sharing a semi-d with another professional would be great, what other options might be out there?

The landed estate around there will be the best choice.

If he is looking at condo, not much options apart from Le Crescendo at Paya Lebar or condos near Potong Pasir / Woodleigh.
