Dependent Pass for my infant son

Post by NESIN » Thu, 17 Apr 2014 3:34 am

Hi Guys,

Kindly help me with my querry.

My husband's EP is valid till 13.06.14 and so my DP.
I am in India currently and plan to take my son to SG ASAP. (came to IND for delivery).
Can Husband's employer process application for my son's DP considering less than 60 days left in his EP expiry with this Company?
Does it depend on Company to Company or is dre some MOM guideline to apply for DP if EP is valid for less than 3 months??
Until his EP gets renewed or he manages to get a new job(in case of rejection) , what is the way out to take my son to SG?

You will have to deal with with tourist visa or long term visit pass. Sorry.

Hi,

From my experience, you can ask your husband company to renew the EP first, then re-apply DP for you and your son.

Happen to me before.

EP can be renew 3 months before expiry date.

Thank You

EP needs renewal first and to be honest with less than a month left before it expires it should be done straight away.......like now.

Once EP is approved then DPs can be applied for.
