Yikes!

There seemed to be a language/accent issue there. While the American sounded perfectly clear to me, he probably was speaking too fast for the China Airlines pilot to understand. The one time he slowed down, the pilot understood him.

On the other hand, the China Airlines pilot spoke a bit fast and it was hard for me to understand everything he was saying, even though he was speaking English.

Nevertheless, still pretty scary.

China Airlines has been on the banned list for the last 7 or 8 years at the company I work for.
