Just to give you guys an idea of how the IT job market is in Singapore.
Here is a position advertised in Linked In for an IT manager role and it has received 382 applications in 13 days

It'd be really interesting to know geographic distribution of applicants. All 382 may be residing in India atm.

Good point! I think if you have a LI premium account, you can get that information. But I am not going to get a premium account just to find who my competitors are, that info wont better my chances in any way.

That's pretty common for most IT jobs in Singapore. I'm not sure if it is spam or what; the position I just backfilled for myself in Singapore showed hundreds of applicants on Linkedin. Our recruiting department only gave us about 30 resumes though, and even those were mostly crap.
