I'm just looking for some advice on the market out there.
The wife is being transferred and I'm trying to figure out what's the best approach for me bearing in mind the following.
All of the jobs I'm seeing are asking for a degree etc which I do not have despite being in a mid - senior role for some very recognizable global companies. I have 25 years experience as an IT Generalist / IT manager with a very broad range of skills.
Also, I'd really love to contract / start my own support business if feasible, despite being a poor salesman!
Any (constructive) advice greatly appreciated.
Don't do it. Singapore is small within any given vertical. Networking is essential. Hard to break in if you don't have the contacts. If you are poor salesman... and I gather that means you don't get out and make the calls... you won't get anywhere.slimbalato wrote:Also, I'd really love to contract / start my own support business if feasible, despite being a poor salesman!
