Documents for PR application

Hi Group,
I am planning to apply for Singapore PR. I have a small problem. The surname of my wife in her passport is her maternal name. But her surname in my daughter's passport is my family name.

Do I need an affidavit to show that both the names are the same OR my marriage certificate will do.

It would be better to get a new passport with the correct name.
