Information And Sharing On Setting Up Businesses

Hi All, I'm arranging a sharing session on Successful Business Setup with 2 local entrepreneurs. Trying to gather interested people that are keen to share their experiences and also to get insights on successful businesses.

sounds good do you have a date and location?

My wife and I will be looking to start a business in the coming weeks and dont have a strong grasp of the requirements for Singapore.

Owned and operated in Oz and that is straight forward.

Are you a PR? If not you'll definitely want to read these threads. Even if you are a PR, there is still useful information.

In general, if you are here on a work pass, you cannot start up and work for another company (yours).

no i am a tourist atm, applying for PR.

My wife is Singaporean.

To add, since your wife is Singaporean, if you have married for 3 years, or less with a child, and you can consider LTVP+ should your PR application gets rejected.

And its important to know what are the grants entitled for business which could help to improve productivity and efficiency at a grant such as PIC grant (60% cash rebate) and ICV voucher valued at $5000. Many people has neglected the importance of online business where many would search the internet every second around the world. I have a good experience from my online business agent, [email protected] and advices and tips on how to expand my business online.
