Buzz cut and Shape up in Singapore?

Post by SteveGrantRogers » Wed, 02 Apr 2014 3:32 am

Hello guys,
I am a Singaporean here, and I am wondering about where can I have a buzz cut and a shape up in Singapore?
Because I am currently schooling right now, but whenever I went to the barber and asked for a number 2 or even showed them the picture of those buzz cut with shape up. They just shaved my hair off with the number 2 clipper and considered the job done, sometimes both sides of my buzz cut hair are not even, like they shaved one side of it too much and it basically ''ate'' into my hair. So one side was like very inside and another one was fine so it's like very uneven.
I really don't know which barber to go to, and my hair is really long right now, it looks kinda like a mushroom or something. It's kinda funny when I say this but I just want to have a nice haircut that I want. :(

Thank you for reading and replying to my thread, and sorry if I posted this in the wrong category.

So a Singaporean goes to a largely foreigner forum to ask about haircuts in Singapore. Hmmmm......

An interesting intro "I am a Singaporean here..."

Does that mean it would be strange for a Singaporean to be in Singapore, or for a Singaporean to be on this forum, or just a way of introduction, or other?

Another interesting thing, "I am currently schooling right now", is interesting on multiple levels; the 'currently" and "right now" are mutually superfluous, and the "schooling", is that a word? Does it refer to being "schooled", or to be doing the "schooling"?

And if it is a word, would not this sentence structure and schooling be a conflict in practice?

Then there is this part "It's kinda funny when I say this but I just want to have a nice haircut that I want. " It is kinda funny, for obvious reasons.

Sorry, no idea about buzz cuts, if that's what you're really after with your one post, Captain America.

Yes, I tried to use the search function but it lead to the Google search results instead so I am kind of confused about how to use it and am new on here so I haven't really familiarize myself with the functions fully yet. But now when I look for it, the search keyword functions is actually beside my username so my bad my bad.
And, thank you for the link to the thread! :D

Yes?
I am wondering if I should just get a normal #2 buzz cut all around, and then use razor to shape up my buzz cut?

well there are those places in Bangkok that look like places to get haircuts but probably isn't a single razor in the place
