Loving cat looking for foster home

Post by Jessica S » Thu, 20 Mar 2014 7:54 am

Hi everyone!

My husband and me will have to go to China for a job for about six months.

Our beautiful, loving cat Sookie (about 3 years old, healthy) will not be able to come with us, as we know, to bring her over is easy, but to come back to Singapore will include long weeks in the quarantine, which is never pleasant for any animal.

We've asked friends but no one we know can take care of her and love her for six months (I understand, it is quite long).

Is there anyone out there, who would help us foster Sookie until we are back?

We love her to bits and do not want to put her up for adoption.

If you are interested, please contact me for details at [email protected].

Thank you so much!

Hi,

I would love to take, but I am a bit worried about the times when I leave for vacation for couple of days. Otherwise would love to. :) Anyway I can keep it for a week or two. Let me know if you are interested. 82318752 :)

Hi Aurelia!

Thank you so much for your super fast reply and sweet offer! Let's wait a couple more days, if someone else comes up, but just because I think it'd be easier for the kitty if she can stay in the same place for the half year.

We'll definitely keep you in mind though, you sound like you'd enjoy Sookie's company and if she's loved, she'll shower you back with love :)

Thanks loads! :)

We might be able to help. We have a cat (the forum mascot) but is your cat long hair or short hair?

Dear Manager,

Thank you so much for your reply! I seem to be unable to send private messages, as I am just new to this site.

Sookie, our cat, is a domestic shorthair, I could send you some pictures if you like?

Please get in touch with us (my husband Soren might pick up):

Thank you loads!
Best,
Jessica
