Should I include my son in SPR application ?

Post by alvinchan » Sat, 15 Mar 2014 2:55 pm

Hi All
I am in Singapore about 2.5 year. My wife now working in Malaysia but she is a SPR (previously work in Sin) and we got a 4 year old son.

My questions:
1. Can I include my son in SPR application as I do not have Marriage Certificate with my wife

2. Is it a positive point if I include my son in the application? so that more easier to get approval
Thanks

as long u are qualify for the pr requirement , u can apply include or exclude . exclude your son u may get a question by ica. if u are apply alone but not include your wife should be not need the marriage certificate

whole family apply will get better chance.

The issue is if it's a sincere PR application to settle in Singapore permanently. Logically you would assume if the parent is settling in Singapore the son will also settle in Singapore and will also request PR. If not then it raises a question on the long-term intention and commitment to Singapore (specifically NS obligation for the son).
