PR collection - spouse category

Post by Cindy123 » Thu, 13 Mar 2014 4:28 pm

Hi,

My PR under spouse category has been approved. I am currently outside Singapore.

1) Can my spouse collect it on my behalf? (I guess not).

2) I plan to travel to Singapore for a day or two to collect my PR. Can I use the in-principal approval to enter & stay in Singapore or do I need to apply for a short term visit pass for this?

Thanks.

Before going to singapore, your spouse must apply for an appointment for you at the ICA (e-appointment) to complete the formalities for your PR (whatever you need to do is in the approval letter). Once you arrive in SG, you can show the letter to the immigration officer and they will probably give you the standard 30 day SVP.

Hi,

I am from India. I would have the PR in-principle approval letter with me. Should I also apply for a short term visit pass in advance for entry purposes?

unless it states so in the approval form, you need a social visit pass to come here and complete the formalities ....
