Chances of a Job in Singapore for DP holder

Hi,

I am a DP holder who worked in Pvt Banking in India for 10 years. Is there
any chance of getting a job here? I am applying through the job sites for the past few months, but of no avail. Is it the right way to proceed?

From my experience and what I've heard from others as well, it is very difficult to get a job in Singapore if you are applying from abroad. Also not only being in SG but also networking is the key to finding a job here.

Try to go to as many events as possible and meet people. Have name cards ready. Join the association of your country or the American Association which welcomes all nationalities (www.aasingapore.com). They will be able to help you with your job search and also you could meet new people at their regularly organised events.
