What's some good places to get a decent pie around here without it tasting like a curry puff ?
To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

There is a place on Circular Road and a place in Robertson Walk. Sorry, can't remember the names.......

Cold Storage at centrepoint has a separate bakery counter that sells beef and chicken pies

Chicken Balti Pies at any of the football grounds in the West Midlands (UK) ....

Top quaility, and I think they always near the top of "Best Pies in Football Grounds" When I were younger :D

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
You've got me craving a pie now, chicken + mushroom [get in me marf!! :)].
Mmmm, chips, peas and some gravy over. Think I'll have to get down to this 'pie club'.

- We could start a side-meme: authentic but reasonably budget home-from-home food outlets

- This Pie Club, and the other place Dons.
- Ambush, a German style sausage and mash etc lunch.

Can't think of anywhere that does good fish + chips. Oh to have a place like NYCs 'A Salt and Battery' here.... http://www.asaltandbattery.com/home
