Our contracts don't have a renegotiation clause nor do we take out the employers share from the employee. In fact, we don't do anything at all. None of the companies across our industry do either. The vast marjority don't.
In my case my company pays me X amount and on my salary slip there is one line item that says salary = X and that is it. no breakdowns of any sort, it was the simplest salary slip I've seen in my whole life.
On my offer letter too there was no wording to say conditions will change subject to PR status etc etc. in fact no reference to Anything.

Only visitors and rich people lives in Sydney, Manly North Shore and the likes. it is more hype than real. King Cross , Bondi etc
The bloody toll cost a bomb every time you cross the bloody metal rope
Penrith is more down to earth. Waga Waga, Wolloogong, not bad too
IT pays good money but in OZ if you are technically incline and have decent handskill, you are paid more
WD, you cannot judge a country by visiting only one part of the country. 7 or 14 days does not mean much. It takes 7 hours to fly from Perth to Sydney. That big a land mass OZ is.
I lived in Bangalore for 6 months in 1988 when BPL Sanyo started Electronic Mass Production at Arekere Gate. I worked with Karnatakan workers, eat what they eat day in , day out. People for Karnataka are different from Tamils, Gujerats and the likes.
Even their skin tones are different.
What I am trying to point out is , you cannot make generalize statement with one sweep of the broom. That is wrong and you have change this mindset. Do not judge someone by the colour, race or religion as all of us are different coming from different background

@mad Scientist : Bangalore has changed so much since 1988, while it is home to the largest number of software companies in India, the chaos and traffic makes it one of the worst planned cities in India
