In August I will be stopping over in Singapore for 5 nights.
I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any good but cheap places to stay?

check www.latestays.com - very easy to navigate and usually the best prices around in my experience. Try to avoid Fragrance hotels - I hear they got their name for a reason

if you are young and dont mind shared dorms then the Price of Wales in little india has b&b for about $25 a night. its v popular with backpackers

$22 a night - 3rd night free with breakfast. Lots of older people there.
