They were punching each other out in front of the SCT when a snappy photog go this.

I'm going to be they're some sort of trash from one of the former USSR territories and this on reason these pricks shouldn't be allowed into Singapore.

So the conclusions from some other thread were wrong: there are clearly some ways of ruling enforcement after leaving SCT.

Hard to tell from their appearance but given their actions I'd say Australian. Yes definitely Australian.

I like the local reply in TNP after the article....
At least they have the guts to fight one on one. Unlike our youths here who loves to set upon one with at least half a dozen. Cowardice acts and behavior, that's our youths for you.

Warned and let off. Probably had their Albanian mafia boss bribe the IO.

Not the same as being charged. Remember the recent incident with the two Singaporeans fighting on the MRT train? They were charged with affray.

The problem is that there is a perceived sense of different treatment for ang moh versus that of the locals.

Perceived difference didn't help Michael Fay though.

I think, if the truth be known, the reason why it didn't go any further as it was between two foreigners and no Singaporeans were involved. Witness the other cases where Ang Mo gets into brawls with locals, there is usually hell to pay. I reckon because no local were harmed in the production, it wasn't a smirch on their reputation.

That and the fact that if they charge with affray it adds to the crime statistics. Whereas if they are let off, it retains Singapore's "low crime" stats.
Don't forget there is a general erection in the next 18months...the PAP is going to want to brag about their policies keeping crime low :^o
