FDW asks to transfer - anyone releasing a good helper?

Post by Fortan » Tue, 11 Feb 2014 1:22 pm

I have complained about our FDW before on this forum and we have given her a couple of warnings and each time that has helped for a week or two - then back at the same problems. Now she has decided to ask for a transfer. She wants to go home to the Philippines for a month and we are not willing to let her go that long. So guess she is leaving and we have to find another.

She came to us as a transfer helper. Having been in Singapore for nearly 10 years. I was warned about it but wouldn't listen. Now I learn the hard way. She is always the first one to make sure we know when she has leave and what days are national holidays. She'll know and tell before I know. Nothing but problems. Won't listen or do as we ask her to. AND we are a very easy family to work for, there's no doubt about it.

We've decided to try and get a helper from Myanmar but now we run into the agency which is run by Filipinos. They keep pushing us new pinoy resumes. It is starting to get on my nerves. They have a database of Myanmar helpers with the skills we need but they keep saying they are unavailable for interviews or they can't speak English. I don't trust the agency and it has started to get on my nerves.

*rant over*

If anyone here are leaving and releasing a very good helper, I would be very keen to hear from you. Your help will be highly appreciated

Maybe you should consider PNGMK's maid. He is giving her up this latter half of year.

If you can't get the support you need from the agency before you get the FDW, you're not going to get it when you have her.

Find a different agency I say.
