Appeal after approved PR letter-expiration

Post by DDZ » Mon, 10 Feb 2014 12:55 pm

I may be having the most bizzare situation.

My PR was approved while I was taking time off for my family and other personal needs where I was infact traveling. By the time I got to know my PR is approved, I was in the middle of applying for new jobs. As the employer took time to respond (as they first said I am over-qualified and then took 1 month to get back), my PR approval letter was expired.

Then I wanted to make an appointment, I was given nearly 8 months late date... However on that date I had a viral infection & totally down, couldn't make it to ICA. And when I checked to change the date after cancelling, there has to be another 6 months of waiting..
And I wrote to the officers explaining my situation. Plus I have the doctor's medical certificate.

I am still waiting for ICA officers to get back. However can someone please advice me on my appeal process.
Thanks.
