The same, and worse, has been reported about Qatari construction workers. Reading the AJ article, their situation does not seem much worse than SG, except for the lower pay and higher temps.Strong Eagle wrote:That's mild compared to the construction worker abuses in Dubai.

Sorry to sound cynical and grim, but I expect this shit to happen to laborers and I imagine it's just as bad in Singapore. But Flight Attendants and Pilots (generally seen as 'higher class' work than labor) from Western Countries ? Unexpected.Strong Eagle wrote:That's mild compared to the construction worker abuses in Dubai.

I was contemplating using them to go to UK also , but the reviews for Economy were not so favourable.x9200 wrote:This 5 stars reputation of QA, where does it come from? Business and first class? Same thing for Emirates IMO. Those who like it are used to US Domestic, and are taking their first trip to Asia, India, or the Middle East on one of those two airlines. That's why they love it. Those of us used to SQ, Cathay, etc., won't find anything too grand about it.x9200 wrote:This 5 stars reputation of QA, where does it come from? Business and first class? I got that, what i mean is why go through all this trouble and suffer to such an extent when you can just go back and claim welfare ?the lynx wrote:This article is publish on a Swedish news portal about a Swedish experiences working for Qatar airways.
