So looks like Singtel has the rights to Olympic coverage. We have Starhub. My husband swung by Singtel last night to see if they had any plans to air any of it publicly, but the store had no info about the schedule. If anyone hears anything, please post. I'd really appreciate it.

Singtel doesn't air Winter Olympics unfortunately. Would be interesting to know if there is any pub that is showing that.
Edit: Sorry, yes it will. Seven 24-hour channels from Channel 165 onwards IIRC.

Last time round I remember watching it on local TV....think we've always had Starhub crappy as they are.
We looked into whether or not TSN is carrying it but no...might have to resort to the slingbox.

For any other ski fans...too bad so sad if you're not already on singtel. called them and they can't get us converted until the olympics are over. Duh.

I got the same response from Singtel. I tried streaming on NBC- I do still pay the cable bill for my father back in the states so I have log in confirmation- but could not get the player to work. So frustrating.

Try streaming through a VPN. Also, you can try CBC - Canadian broadcasting corp - if you go in through a Canadian VPN it works.

With the ongoing pandemic, would you think there's a possibility of a further delay of the Olympics?

Isn't there minimal source of income for them since tickets make the most money?

Oh there will be spectators... but dead in their coffins or watching from their ICU rooms. Japan SHOULD have cancelled for 2 years.
Exactly, they...

Olympics and Covid19

So how will you compete when you have Covid19? Other competitors will wait till you recover? :???:
It's really puzzling to think they will actually...

The results of this Olympics would lose its credibility if many such athletes are infected and someone who otherwise couldn't have won, wins.
