You could also look into learning programming in the comfort of your own home:

They have video lectures interspersed with quizzes, exercises and problem sets to keep things engaging.

There are other providers as well but level of interesting-ness and flexibility vary.

Like the previous poster mentioned, there are a TON of online resources. I'd look at using them before shelling out big bucks for classes that teach the same stuff. A tutor is great, but it's better to know where you need work before you pay for one.

You could also look at http://www.codecademy.com/ (free) and teamtreehouse.com ($25/month) or a few others.
